While working in various facilities over the years, Toby witnessed both exceptional and substandard senior-care, and he felt called to offer families a unique experience in which care was exceptional, customized, and focused on loving this vulnerable population well.  Psalms 71:9 states, “Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.”  This is what we aim to do:  love, care, respect, and protect the seniors that join our home. 

 

When Toby began dreaming of this home, he knew a large facility was not conducive with the depth of care he wanted to provide.  So, after many prayers, the Lord opened the door for Buttermilk Villa:  a small, family-oriented facility that can house six residents.  Because we are a smaller facility, our staff is able to develop deep, authentic relationships with our residents.  This allows our resident’s needs to best be met:  by someone they know, someone they trust, and someone who values them as an individual. 

 

We pray that our home can be considered a “home-away-from-home” for our residents, and we feel that our level of personal care and attention lends itself to this.  We welcome the opportunity for you to experience this yourself by visiting our facility!
